Onomichi is a historic port city along the Seto Inland Sea in Hiroshima Prefecture. It was made famous by the classic Ozu film Tokyo Story (1953).
What happens?
Despite the love of things traditional here, the lanterns are rather more contemporary than you will find elsewhere. They are decorated with colorful pictures.
