Uminonakamichi Seaside Park celebrates its autumn blooms with a seven-week festival.
What to expect
Each spring and autumn, the intensely scenic Uminonakamichi Seaside Park attracts thousands of visitors to its flower festivals. The autumn event is known for its vast displays of cosmos flowers, bright red kochia bushes, and pink waves of hairawn muhly grass. A new addition to the colorful seasonal display is red buckwheat.
Aside from the gardens, you’ll be able to enjoy tasty autumnal treats, get up close with squirrel monkeys, and check out the massive whale kite and hot air balloon. There will also be cute Halloween displays, as well as SUPping and a seaside wildlife experience.
