Is Osaka really Japan’s premier foodie city? Find out at Yatai Fes, a grand gathering of food stalls from across the city.
What happens?
Yatai are the small, pop-up food stalls that set up shop at summer festivals.
At this festival, the idea is scaled up: there will be more than 50 stalls from around Japan offering everything from Hokkaido melon ice cream to phở.
Around the site you’ll find interactive corners including a mobile aquarium and camping cars. Stages will feature live music, idol groups, and anime character shows, with a karaoke contest thrown in for anyone bold enough to take the mic.
