teamLab Forest is a digital art exhibition in Fukuoka. Designed by the same art collective as teamLab Planets in Tokyo, Forest is an immersive experience for the whole family.
teamLab Forest has two sections. In Catching and Collecting Forest, visitors can use their smartphones to take photos of different animals they find as they explore a series of colorful worlds. Athletics Forest, meanwhile, is more active — imagine a very artistic obstacle course.
Tickets cost ¥2,200 for those 16 years and older, and ¥800 for people younger than 15. Children under 3 are free. You can buy tickets at the door, but they may sell out so we recommend buying them online in advance.
The closest train station is Tōjinmachi Station on the Airport Line. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to teamLab Forest.
