Happo One is the largest and most well-known ski resort in the Hakuba area of Nagano.
Among the resorts, it is closest to the village center and Hakuba Station, making a visit even sweeter. It hosted several events for the Olympics in Nagano, which is probably the best sign of the quality of the slopes. A one-day pass for Happo-one is ¥5,500.
Happo-One (that’s pronounced “o-ne” not “one”!) has twenty different lifts and gondolas, providing access to an array of beginner, intermediate, and advanced runs.
