Miyashita Hills is a mixed campsite with cabins and spaces for both traditional and autocamping. They have hot showers (¥300 per person) and a bath too (¥500 per person). Toilets and kitchen facilities are both supplied with hot water and there is a laundry area as well.

There are a great mix of spots available, mostly surrounded by trees but without feeling too remote. The views are amazing and the site is close to a few hot springs (Fureai no Yu is five minutes away) and sightseeing spots like Lake Shirakaba and the Utsukushigaraha Plateau.

Cost

One vehicle (four people): ¥4,400 (increased to ¥5,500 in Golden Week, summer vacation and on consecutive holidays). It’s open all year round with the reception desk open from 8 am to 8 pm.
