Tateshina Highland Open-Air Museum

This outdoor sculpture museum is the sister museum of the better known Hakone Open Air Museum.

The museum is within the grounds of the Resort Hotel Tateshina. While regular visitors are admitted from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., hotel guests are permitted to stay in the park from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.

The resort is located at a high altitude, so the grounds of the Open-Air Museum may be inaccessible due to snow during winter.

Free parking is available at the resort for up to 100 cars.
