A Kyoto branch of the popular Tokyo vegan restaurant, this Journey branch has a mix of cafe favourites.
Promising no meat, fish or dairy, the menu has lunches and desserts as well as a cafe menu if you’re just stopping for something casual. As with all vegan spots in Japan, prices are a little higher, but it’s good quality and officially vegan, so it’s worth the extra yen for the peace of mind alone.
If you’re keen to know more about being vegan or veggie in Japan – take a look at our guide over on Tokyo Cheapo.
