Nestled at the end of the Tatemachi Shotengai (shopping street), DK Art Cafe is possibly the world’s first and only cafe dedicated to the art of projection mapping.

“DK” stands for dejitaru kakejiku – a Japanese term invented by local Ishikawa Prefecture artist Akira Hasegawa for his particular brand of projection mapping.

Constantly changing projection mapping patterns illuminates an art installation on the wall of the cafe, making for a constantly changing scene.
