Managing to balance homey with trendy in perfect harmony, Full of Beans is a relaxed Japanese-style restaurant perfect for lunch.

With horigotatsu seating and spaces for groups of solo diners, they have a simple menu with a focus on vegetables at lunch and paired beers and wine at dinner. Lunch options include a curry with salad, pasta of the day and a special among others—all the right balance of filling but light.

If you’re vegetarian or vegan, there’s a lunch set available especially. There’s also an option to add any dessert from the specials board to your set—and although it seems small on first appearances, the perfectly ripe fruit is more than just decorative and it’s a delicious treat on which to finish.

If you want to extend beyond the set drink options (or are just after a drink and maybe a cake), be sure to try the Kaga plum wine, Kaga sake or one of the non-alcoholic cocktails.

Lunch sets cost ¥1,380 with a drink or ¥1,680 with dessert.
