The Osaka Mint Bureau is the head office of the Japan Mint. There are branches in Hiroshima and Saitama.
The mint itself is off limits, although the grounds on the river side are open for a week in mid-April for cherry blossom viewing.
There is also a Mint Museum which is open to the public on the grounds.
