Tatsumaki Jigoku is one of Beppu’s “7 Hells”. It is located right next door to Chinoike Jigoku so is easy to knock off – especially if you doing all 7 hells.
Tatsumaki Jigoku is a geyser that spouts water at a temperature of 101 degrees celsius every 20 to 40 minutes.
Entrance to Tatsumaki Jigoku is 400yen for adults or you can enter with the 7 hells concession ticket available for 2,000yen.
