Located south-west of Kyoto Station, the temple is renowned for an iconic five-story pagoda.

Admission changes depending on the season, from a low season price of ¥800 to a high season charge of ¥1,300. High season runs from April 27th until May 25th.

There is a market on the 21st of each month.
