The mausoleum complex of Date Masamune and the daimyos of the Sendai Domain, the Zuihōden complex in Sendai’s Aoba Ward date from 1637.

The complex includes the mausoleum of the one-eyed dragon himself, Date Masamune, and also those of Date Tadamune, Date Tsunamune, and Date Chikamune, as well as several of their children.
