The founder of Aji no Sanpei, Morito Omiya, is said to have invented miso ramen in 1955. It is also said that it was his idea to add garlic to ramen and to create the rice and ramen combo set.
This is a bucket-list ramen restaurant for all noodle fanatics. Miso ramen starts from ¥1,000. Shumai dumplings are only ¥70. It is a small, unassuming store that’s situated in a stationery store. Counter seating only.
