This cafe operates from April to October and offers simple tatami seating with bright red umbrellas beside the water. For sweets, you can choose between the traditional iced green tea shiruko (a soupy dessert made with red beans) or a swiss roll cake made locally. The tea is a local kaga bocha tea and is served warm or cold. A set costs ¥600 for adults and ¥500 for elementary school students. If you want to sit but not eat, you can pay a ¥200 seating fee if it isn’t too busy, which includes tea.
