If you want to avoid the cold lines you’ll find outside of famous ramen spots in central Sapporo, then visit Hokkaido Ramen Dojo on the third floor of the Domestic Terminal Building at New Chitose Sapporo Airport.
This ramen street has the most famous ramen chains and restaurants in Hokkaido. We opted for Keyaki, famous for its miso ramen. Choices included spicy miso ramen, soy sauce ramen, chashu (roast pork) ramen, chicken broth ramen, and butter corn ramen. We kept it simple and went for the miso ramen (¥1,200) with an added egg for ¥200. There are also other extra toppings.
We went on a Sunday lunchtime (around 12 p.m.) and waited for 15 to 20 minutes to be seated.
