Myoko Sunshine Land is an amusement park that is part of the larger Myoko Sunshine Resort which includes a golf course, camping ground, and hotel. Once a common sight in the Japanese countryside, small amusement parks are now a rarity. While well maintained, the park feels like some kind of 1970s throwback. Most of the rides are very tame---best for small children---although there are a couple of more adrenalin pumping rides. There is also an inexcusably racist "Adventure Safari" ride which should just be scrapped immediately. Admission is for adults, and for children. For the rides, you can either purchase blocks of 10 tickets for or get a combined park entrance and free-ride ticket for for adults or for kids. Most rides require 3 tickets. Sunshine Land has a large, free parking lot and doesn't seem to be crowded---even in the peak summer season.
