Nagoya is Japan’s third largest metropolitan area and the capital of Aichi Prefecture. It’s a stop on the Tōkaidō Shinkansen between Tokyo and Osaka.
There are lots of things to do in Nagoya, and lots to eat as well.

Accommodation in Nagoya
If you’re staying in Nagoya, we recommend staying close to Nagoya Station. That will give you great transport connections to various sightseeing spots, as well as the Shinkansen for onward travel. We liked the trendy Hotel Resol Nagoya for its sauve aesthetic. For the more budget conscious traveler, nine hours Nagoya Station is a great capsule hotel option.
