A large public park in Nara which has many UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Todai Temple and Kasuga Shrine. The park is also famous for its large population of wild, but tame deer. You can buy one of the 100yen packs of senbei to tempt them with, but keep your wits about you as you will soon be swarmed, and they’re determined to get those crackers. The park has covered seating areas and benches but picnics are made difficult by aforementioned determined deer.
